The DH-10 portable communication device allows physicians to have the freedom of a handheld recorder combined with the latest in digital voice technology. Digital recording allows ease of use in marking, forwarding and rewinding.
HCFA Internet Guidelines:
Global Info Systems Internet based medical transcription process is in compliance with HCFA’s Internet Security Guidelines’.
HIPPA Requirement: Our services will be in full compliance of HIPPA implementation scheduled for 2001 – 2002, including security (encryption) required by the HIPPA legislation.
Hardware Requirement:
Internet access with a workstation is all the hardware that is required. Hand held digital recording unit for each physician and a
San Disk uploading unit per customer / clinic site. No additional networking, hardware or software involved.

| Operational Process For Uploading Voice Files & Downloading Text Files: |
Dictation: Physician dictates into handheld digital recorder similar to analog tape recorder.
Audio File Uploading: Flash Card (Memory Card) with voice files is inserted into San Disk (Card Reader) which is attached to a internet access workstation.
Audio File Transfer: Files uploaded to Global Info Systems server using secure connection via a business phone line.
Text File Downloading: Following a 24 hour turnaround time, text files are downloaded in a reverse process to that of uploading audio files.
