Hiring & Training
GIS hires only experienced transcriptionists and speech editors with a minimum of two years acute care experience. In addition, every applicant is required to undergo rigid testing prior to being accepted as a member of the GIS Transcription Team. Each newly hired transcriptionist / speech editor with GIS is mentored for a minimum of 90-days by our Senior Training Team. Our Quality Assurance Team monitors work quality, consistency and TAT. Our GIS transcriptionists / speech editors are dedicated to specific accounts. Quality Assurance is monitored specific to the transcriptionist and to the account, and results are documented routinely and systematically.
