Evaluation of the MT service industry:
Career in medical transcription services is not for everyone. It requires continuous learning capability and an ability to maintain focus & commitment to deliver accurate, reliable results day after day. Quality and not quantity should be the only criteria one should bring to work every day. If you have the commitment and ability to take pride in high quality work, you will succeed.

What is the second step we have taken which many other transcription companies did not?
Our vision is shared with our customers. We contacted potential customers (Physician Groups & Hospitals) and shared a detail project report addressing customer needs based on our organization’s philosophy, customer focus and technology driven processes. We work together with our customers as one.

What is that our organization has & values, which many established organizations do not have ?
Our organizational culture supports true merit and efforts of the individual supported by our team philosophy to bring out the best in you. Your development as an individual and as a professional is the true asset of our organization. Combined intellect of our team is the single most valuable asset for GIS.

Bonding-A different approach: We are not requiring you to be (financially or through a contract) bonded for our investment of time, resources and effort in providing you with a well designed, comprehensive training program. We will be bonding you with our excellent organizational culture that will help to bring out the best in each of you. We will be bonding you with a fair and open work environment without the petty politics and non-productive national pastime of gossiping. This organization is the place for individuals with mutual respect-personally and professionally.

It is our commitment to provide you with a professional work environment that is conducive to an excellent work ethic. All of us are here to work together in order to create a value that is greater in quality than what the customer expects, greater in satisfaction than what you expect and with you expect and with these qualities together, a product that is clearly superior to the best companies in this business.

It is your commitment to uphold our trust and confidence in you from day one. You are expected to show initiative in utilizing our training and resources not only to develop your MT skills but also to help us in mentoring others. In teaching others, you get strong, in turn: we are all better because of this fact.

Continuous education, evaluation and improvement: is the fundamental philosophical drive of this organization. This is the key to make each one of you to be competent, effective and efficient individual in the MT industry.

How will speech recognition technology affect the future of medical transcription?
In spite of the advances in this technology, it has been difficult for the software to grasp and analyze the human voice and the English language with all its diversity. There will continue to be a need for skilled medical language specialists who expand their education and have the knowledge to identify and appropriately edit the inevitable errors created by speech recognition systems, and who have enough understanding of the health record to create a final document. Medical transcriptionists continue to be the best qualified to discern the nuances of human speech—indeed, the ultimate speech processors.
